Lcda. Nikol M. Matos

Nikol M. Matos holds a bachelor's degree in general psychology and a master's degree in school psychology. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, specializing in consulting, research, and teaching. During my formative years, I had the opportunity to conduct research with Dr. Manuel Diaz Rios at the Institute of Neurobiology at the University of Puerto Rico. I am currently an active member of the Puerto Rico Psychologists Association and volunteer for the consulting firm Zen Statistics.

Although she has worked in a private company for over 10 years, her dream is to become an author, researcher, and educator in the near future. To that end, she continually expands her knowledge in multiple areas of interest, such as food safety, the effects of caffeine on mammalian locomotor behavior, procrastination, sign language, public policy and its effects on individuals, physical activity and education, cannabis, and mental health.

He fundamentally believes that embracing the (sometimes contradictory) complexity of being human is what allows us to feel fulfilled.
